What is an Event Volunteer - Charity Collection?

We need you to help collect donations from the public! Our charity Collection volunteers will be posted around Callendar Park during the Fireworks Display and are crucial to helping us raise funds so we can continue to offer this valued, free event to the Falkirk community. Volunteers will work in pairs and we will provide you with a Hi-Vis, you will be stationed in well lit areas with security. You will not be required to handle any cash, we just need you to be the friendly, welcoming and thankful face of the Trust. It’s a really fun night, with some of the best firework displays you will ever see. We can’t do it without your help and it is a fun way for you to meet new people while enjoying the best of what FCT have to offer!

What's involved?

• Interacting with the public to raise awareness of FCT and encouraging donations via SMS
• Helping to collect funds via bucket collections at Falkirk’s Fireworks Display
• Please note, this is an outdoor event so please dress accordingly!

Skills, attitude, and experience required.

• This opportunity would suit individuals who are outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and confident, as well as have a genuine interest in raising funds for FCT
• No experience required!

Other important information

Date and Location: 5 November 2019 at Callendar Park

Time Commitment: 5:30pm to 8:00pm. There will also be a 30 minute briefing prior to the event.
